Analyzing MLM Companies in Nigeria

There are hundreds of MLM industries in Nigeria as we know most them-GNLD, FLP, Organo Gold, Oriflame, Trevo and (new kid on the block) EBN etc. Each of these company has its unique package which distinguishes them from the others and whether they live up to your expectations and goals is a different kettle of fish which I will discuss in another write-up. I will post a comprehensive comparative analysis of these Network Companies and expose some of the underling secrets they may never reveal to you.

I visited a popular Nigerian forum, Nairaland and it will shock you how negative Nigerians feel about network marketing. Their negative energy is bound to pull you in if you are not informed and exposed in the MLM industry and I really feel for those who have fallen victim to some the Ponzis out there that claim to be a MLM company. however I will blame them for not carrying out due deligence to conduct a proper research on a company before investing in it. Research for me is the first rule of engagement.

while you carry out a  research the first thing I encourage people to look out for is the product the company promotes. Trust me there are millions of products out there but which of them is indeed sustainable. Sustainability is essential because it will make no sense if you promote a product or service which doesn’t add value to you the promoter talk less of the people around you. For example how can you promote coffee in Nigeria when it is obvious that very little percentage of our people actually consume them? In fact is much easier to convince a Nigerian to buy and drink a locally brewed whisky than take a foreign made coffee.

Again it is important to look out for a product that is not gender, age or race selective. Why you may ask, because it naturally limits your target prospects. Imagine if you promote hair
extensions in a town where there are more males than female. Of course we all know that in this part of the world men don’t fix extensions. That way you have already limited your business prospects to less than 50% of the population in that town. Same goes for cosmetics, perfumes etc. true you may make a few sales and pull some attraction but it really doesn’t project the product beyond that circle, Which brings me to the health and wellness industry. It is no news that the life expectancy of an average Nigerian now juggles between 65 to 70 years. Even worse a typical Nigerian family spends less than 10 dollars to feed in a day. The result is massive malnutrition and coupled with the chronic stress that has become a part of our everyday lives, people have become very eager to enhance their  standard of living by taking food supplements, vitamins etc. it wont surprise you why most people patronize a lot of locally made herbs and concoctions just to stay alive. Research reveals that in the next few years the heath and wellness industry will triple its presence and grow into a trillion dollar industry and the reason is obvious, ladies and gentlemen who doesn’t want to live a long fulfilling life.

Once the need to find a sustainable product is satisfied then come the business aspect of
MLM which draws most of the negative reviews. Truth is for a network marketer what makes all the difference is the companies compensation plan. And let me make it clear that is why
a lot of network marketers feel frustrated and leave the industry with all the negative reviews you can imagine. A good product without a good compensation plan will result to negative results and reviews. Again that is why a proper research is essential before joining any MLM company.

In the course of my research I came across Trevo LLC and as usual I bisected the company and conducted 100s of researches and read reviews and my conclusion is that trevo may just be the MLM company for the future and I will tell you why.

One company with one unique product, uncommon compensation plan unique to the company alone.

Few but very Important factors separates Trevo from every other Network marketing companies present in Nigeria:

1. The Straight Line Matrix System:

This is the most amazing part of the Trevo compensation plan. It states that everybody(registered in trevo) is on a straight line. If you sign up for Trevo in lets say Ghana, Lagos, Abuja etc now by 3:35pm and someone signs up in India, oklahoma, dubia by 3:56pm, the person automatically queues behind you on the straight line matrix and automatically a member of your team (Global team). This means whether you are signing up people in your team or not automatically your global team is growing, and when you become a Director Trevo begins to pay you a % on every bottle bought from everyone queued behind you in the straight line matrix. Now this is a BIG DEAL. A good way of saying act locally buy think and earn globally.

No company, ever till date is on this plan that's why it is AMAZING.

2. Unilevel System: Ladies and Gentlemen, for a company to come to Nigeria, have its ground and for a long time both product wise and compensation plan wise it must be on a Unilevel system where everybody are equal and are rewarded according to their inputs. 

Enough of the complex, ripping off plans of Binary, stair step, break away. Do not be deceived, the Hybrid plan which is said to be a combination of both Unilevel and Binary pays you only on referral, fast start bonus of Unilevel, because the company doesn't want to limit you to signing up only two people of the binary scheme, the hybrid allows you to bring in as many people as you want who fall in place after 2 into the binary spill over, you get paid your matched bonus, fast start or dual bonus but your monthly income is in NO way connected to the Unilevel plan. You monthly income is solely based on your Binary tree.


8 Ways to Earn In Trevo

This 8ways are mutually exclusive.

1. Retail sales: will elaborate more on this in my next article. If you understand the business you won't have to sell the product. That's by the way.


2. Fast start bonus- trevo pays you a fast start bonus of N11000 for each person you enroll, remember Trevo operates a unilevel system not binary meaning you can sign up as many people as you want directly to yourself thus there is no limit to the number of N11000 you can earn in trevo. N11000 per person you enroll is massive. The next company to Trevo in Nigeria on Fast start bonus is Organo Gold and they pay N3600 per person you enroll is Organo Gold bronze package registration.

For example if u sign up 5people now u get paid over N30000 just for registration bonus alone. You get back your registration fee with just 4people in your team.

That was what caught my interest knowing well that other company's registration bonus is tied to a high volume monthly target.


3. Matching Bonus- when you sign up someone you get N11000 fast start bonus and the person is in your 1st generation/life level. When that person signs up someone else, the person gets N11000 fast start bonus and you get N2600 matching bonus...so for each N11000 your 1st generation enrollee receives you receive N2600 matching bonus...and once again there is no limit to the amount you can earn here too.


4. Group volume income- This is where you begin to earn monthly in trevo (Residual Income) trevo says in a month, you are not given targets like every other network mlm companies. You buy btw 1-6bottles in a month for your consumption not for sales. Depending on how you want to and how you can afford...no matter how much you earn in Trevo you cannot buy more than 6bottles in a month. Your subsequent bonus and commissions after 1month of your registration is tied up to your purchase. 

E.g..you register today within 30days you brought lets say 5pple remember you earn over N52000 on fast start, now if u bring in another 5pple for instance next month (after 30days of your registration) trevo say before you can earn your N52000 you buy at least 1bottle which is N8500. Now ask yourself would you sell the 1bottle or just consume it. Either ways you earn more, because you know you stand to gain more. Purchasing at least one bottle wont be a problem same for your team members. In other companies if my team member doesn't meet up to the number of PV or points to generate, many up-lines use their money to buy products in the name if their team members to meet up the points they need. 

NOTE: A sincere mlm network marketing plan should pay you based on the team you grow earning 1% of the effort of 99 people. 

Ladies and Gentlemen in Trevo if you buy 1000bottles of Trevo, YOU GET ZERO POINTS AND ZERO NAIRA.(you can read that again). 

Trevo is not about your activity but that of the SYSTEM you build (your team members). But if each of your team members buy 1bottle each you earn on each one of them multiplied by 1000.

An oil worker cannot earn over N1m monthly salary if he has not accumulated over 10yrs of working experience.

A Pilot who just graduated from Flight school earn between N500k - N650k until he is able to accumulate over 3000 flight hours. Lagos-kano is 50mins now tell me how long he would get that.


5. Recognition/ Global pool Bonus-  Am going to stop here because i really don't want to dwell so much on the exciting incentives given by Trevo because we have seen a whole lot. Companies tell you to bring in 2people, who bring in their own 2 and you get paid N350000 weekly, go on a trip to France and Dubai, go to the Bahamas for holidays but they wont give you figures of exactly how many people would be involved for you to get this.

As I said before, this is what differentiates trevo completely from every mlm you've heard about. Trevo operates a straight line matrix system meaning evrybody in trevo is on a straight line. If u register now in Kenya by 5:40pm and someone in Dubai, South Africa, Tanzania, Ghana etc signs up by 5:41pm the person is queued behind you on the straight line matrix and is automatically in your team. when you get to a level in trevo (Director) trevo now begins to pay you for bottles everyone queued behind you on straight line matrix globally buys(EXTREMELY MASSIVE)... You cannot understand it until you see it...The highest earner in Trevo Africa is Segun Sosanya (A Nigerian). He earns N12.5m monthly and he has a total of 10000people in his team and all he does in a month in Trevo is buy just 6bottles which is about N50k, he cannot buy more than 6bottles.
